As we all know, a few days ago Al Sharpton announced that he would be marching on Washington on Martin Luther King Day to protest Donald Trump. However, something unexpected has happened for him that could ruin his little march. Sharpton’s “We shall not be moved” has interested less than 1000 people on Facebook, thanks to a “rival” event- the Women’s March on Washington. Now this march has a lot more people, reportedly 175,000 RSVPs, with an additional 250,000 people saying they are interested in participating as well. College issue bad news for students who skipped school to protest

Oberlin College will not suspend failed grades for students who have participated in protest. Cleveland.com reported: OBERLIN, Ohio - Oberlin College has refused to suspend failing grades this semester despite requests for relief from students who skipped classes and missed study time to protest recent deaths at the hands of police across the nation. A student petition, signed by more than 1,300, called for the college to institute a "no-fail mercy period" that would eliminate all failing grades and make a C the lowest possible grade a student could receive, the student newspaper reported.
